Formed on a lonely Valentine’s Day as a distraction from a lack of romantic plans, Suncharmer embody the vibrancy and grit of 70's-inspired indie/rock firmly rooted in the modern age. That same juxtaposition of love and isolation is what drives the songwriting of the band, tied together with a sassy, feisty and energetic punch that occupies the space between soaring glam-rock anthems and moody, reflexive pop.

Lead singer Paul Crisp, who boasts an impressive vocal range with a distinctive sound, leaves every ounce of energy on the stage with his spirited performances. Pair this with the band’s tight rhythm section and the audience is taken on a wild ride.

Suncharmer’s live shows are high-octane, uplifting experiences where they channel the energy and flair of past greats such as Bowie, T.Rex and Led Zeppelin. Having recently sold out local headline gigs, and supported big names including Supergrass and Toploader in the past few years, Suncharmer are enjoying an exciting 2024 full of live gigs, ready to spread some Suncharmer love whilst also recording new music to be released in Autumn.
